Our Beautiful Home and Huge Recreation Area
Anyone who’s ever been to where we are in Southwest New Mexico knows that there’s lots to see and do around here – especially if you love the great outdoors. That’s why we live here. We must warn you that you may decide never to leave, which is perfectly OK with us; we like company.
When you get here you’ll notice when you drive our roads it’s common to see that when a local resident passes you by they’ll signal a hello with a friendly wave. Unusual? Not around here. That’s just one other reason we like it here and have no intention of leaving.
Check the map below and you’ll find us on the western edge of the magnificent 2.7 million acre Gila National Forest and eastern edge of Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, two of the largest public forests in eastern Arizona and western New Mexico regions.
Wow, that’s a lot of land to explore, backpack, camp, hunt, fish, horseback ride, mountain bike, and hike in. As well, you probably have other fun things you love to do outdoors and so you’ll literally never run out of new places to do it. Yeah, wow.
